Baines and Cahill double blow within 20 minutes in to the game sealed Man City's chance to top Premier League table at Christmas since 1929, making Everton look good by 2-1 victory. The home team were in advantage after the bookings of Anchiebe but failed to hold on to the opportunity.Balotelli who had made plenty of chace,missed and failed and slipped into the box. But seconds later Yaya Youre converted a deflected host off Jageika.Moyes called in Russian midfielder Diniyar Bilyaletdinov and striker Louis Sahaon again to preserve Everton's lead. They were able to successfull deflect Balotelli and decent shot from Tevez, hence won at the end.
