In the match of the day mighty Arsenal will take on Manchester City , as Arsenal would be banking on taking an importnant lead in the table as they now lag two points behind the City.


Arsenal earlier have made their mark earlier at Eastlands where they plumelled City 3-0 with Nasri, Song , and Bendtner making equal contribution to their thumping victory.
Now they would come back to their home city on Wednesday with the record of never losing to City in the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League. Their last victory over Arsenal came back in 1975, in the days of old First Division.  Arsenal till now have won four and drew one game in their last six games since they lost at home to Spurs. Arsenal have been able to win six of their nine encounters and losing three in the home games.
If talking about the credentials of City , they come on Wednesday with four wins out of five whereas sharing the most away wins of six with Arsenal.
In the match line-up Arsenal would be missing few key players out because injuries including Abou Diaby, Manuel Almunia, Emmanual Frimpong Thomas Vermaelen, and Kieran Gibbs. On the other hand Marouane Chamakh will be making his back to the team , as he was rested for match with Birmingham. Also Arshavin, Squillaci, and Denilson, are amongsst the likeables to make it to be team.
Manchester City on the other hand would be missing out with David Silva, and the hatrick star Mario Balotelli also involved with complaint with his knee.  They will also be missing out with Emmanuel and Johnson their important strikers.



Match Prediction: With Gunners with a sublime record against City. There would be a 2-0 betting for Arsenal
