Romeo Dev - world's shortest athlete ever



Aditya Dev, commonly known as Romeo Dev is currently is  the top of World's shortest atheletes of all time list. Dev was born in 1988 at  Phagwara, India. He is a  proffesional body builder, hails from India came into limelight when he was reported in UK press in February 2008. 
His height is just 84 cms (2 ft 9 in), and his weighs just a mere 9 Kg s. Romeo can shoulder press custom made 1.5 kg dumbbells,a distinguishes feat considering his stature.  Although it has not been published in a Guinness World Records book, in 2006 they recognized him to be the "world's smallest body-builder".

Romeo is well proportioned, as compared to many other dwarfs, having a head of 38 cm (15 inches) and a chest of 51 cm (20 inches) .He is a highly spirited person, and did not let his stature come over him, and went on to join a gym and started bodybuilding. To many Dev serves as an inspiration  for those who suffer the same condition . His determination and great heart pushes him to achieve his dreams. 'Romeo' trains at the Leo Health Club in Phagwara, India, where his trainer is club owner Ranjit Pal (also known as 'Mr Punjab'). 
Romeo enjoys great fame in his home country and makes many appearances on local television to show off his dancing abilities. In addition to bodybuilding, Romeo's dream is to travel extensively as an entertainer and dancer. In summer of 2008, Aditya was diagnosed with aneurysms which, if left untreated, are a serious threat to his life. Aneurysms and Moyamoyaare common symptoms of the syndrome MOPD II, which is the cause of Aditya's small stature.
